For Now

Kiss your sanity good-bye
Weaving your feelings through guitar riffs.
Head banging bruising bad moments.
Bad bad memories.
Black clothes hug the shadows
With such a delicate and foreign intimacy.
That you can feel the cold presence
Of solitude.
Breathe through the chorus.
"There's no possession, only obsession"
The floor seems sanctuary
From your bleeding
Beat the fuck out of that silence.
Louder. Screaming. Guitar. Drums.
Feel the panic rise.
Get Better.

At least for now.
