Twilight Has Entered My Life

Twilight has entered my life,
realizing that the aging process
is real and not to be shelved
and put away for someone else
to contemplate about.

Twilight has entered my life,
like the sun setting into obscurity,
a decline which is not obvious at first,
but gathers momentum until it rises
the next morning after dawn.

Twilight has entered my life,
accepting this as a process,
no choice in the matter only to
keep writing poetry and face the
words with a wrinkled smile.

Good job
I enjoyed your piece. The refrain "Twilight has entered my life" is affective. Good job.

Between Daylight and Dark
Actually, twilight can be nice in some ways. The stresses of the day are past and the shadows have still not covered all.

Very nicely penned. You kept your piece fairly concise, yet still put your feeling across very well. Age is one of those things that is out of our control - we will all get older at some stage, just one of those things. As long as our hearts and minds are in the right place I think that counts for a lot, and I think a good heart deserves a good mind as you seem to have here. Thanks for sharing your enjoyable poem. All the best to you.
