Time is an illusion
So much fury and fusion,
Confusion and hindered thoughts
Past and future.

Are you in the puppeteer mind?
Broken hearts of the past
Awaiting the long silent kiss of tomorrow.
The heartbeat that skipped,
its doorway to love on a moon lit night,.

Why does fresh air feel so painful?
Why are the poets eyes so alive?
There once was a lover named life
There once was a lover named pain,
They fell in love.
And here we are now!
Doorways are everywhere!

The only time there is
The poet makes an essential point in this one. "Time is an illusion." Most of us are either ruminating about the past or obsessing about the future. The only thing that is real, however, is right here in this moment. The imagery, especially in verse 3, is excellent. Well done.

I love this poem almost like questioning the one who torments their own pain, are you so surprised to be alive in the state of your own pain... you loved roses and gloom all at once within a passion,
