In his eyes

Looking in his eyes
Bliss and sorrow entwined
For in him I will taste
The bitterness and spice

For alone I shall face
The hardships he may bring
But in my soul, I will find
My heaven through his eyes

In his face reflected
The man who told me lies
But what I can deny
Is the beauty in his smiles

The love that once scarred
This delicate heart of mine
Will be forever found
In my sweet little baby’s eyes Registered & Protected

Very good
You can tell you poured your heart into this. I think you meant can't deny ... I really enjoyed reading this. I hope there are not many mothers that have to be on their own.

This is a beautifully written piece and it is so very descriptive......I especially liked the line you wrote about that you will find your heaven through his eyes......Children are a lot of work, it's true, but the rewards that they bring are beyond measure......The giggles alone, are just priceless......Whiskurz
