In his eyes 
|
Looking in his eyes
Bliss and sorrow entwined
For in him I will taste
The bitterness and spice
For alone I shall face
The hardships he may bring
But in my soul, I will find
My heaven through his eyes
In his face reflected
The man who told me lies
But what I can deny
Is the beauty in his smiles
The love that once scarred
This delicate heart of mine
Will be forever found
In my sweet little baby’s eyes
