~At Times~

changes at times need to be net and made
We all know it aint easy to swing that pendulum
Tho’ like I said,
Changes need to be made and met
So I’ll put my money on you
You’re the odds on favorite bet,
To be able to turn things around
And manifest your dreams,
Right into the not yet been there
From the already seem
(This is NOW)
And it’s urgency is complete
Once we realize this
Things become concrete

Please just don’t ever forget
My heart and soul are blue with it
As yet
How we could make each other laugh
Smile giggle and cry
Until we were daft.
You have done such for me
Much for me

My cherished friend
I’ll be counting the days
Missing your ways
Until we meet each other again…

So surprised to see such a low rating on this one.You know how much I love what you do here and I think I have finally figured out why. I once said that life is a writers greatest insperation and many of the issues depicted in your work are aplicable to life.Your work is real unlike a lot of effortless crying that seems to be popular around here these days.

I'm surprised by the low rating on this because I think its pretty good. It's a little different than what most of us have come to expect from you (not in a bad way either)As I have said many times before you are one of if not the most versitile poets here.

Helpful:

i like the way it does not stretch for rhyme; when it rhymes, it seems natural. i like the emotion that is expressed carefully, without being sappy. i would add some metaphors to enrich the language.
