Mirror

Swallowed deep in this abyss
Darkness filled my weary dreams
Can no longer see the beauty in me
That once reflected in you and me

Alone I will always be
Underneath this great blue sea
Flawed and fading
With no one to ever pick me

I never thought that such beauty
Will ever leave me, cast me away
Replace me, I, no longer treasured
Made me worthless forever

Now remain are just memories
You holding me, your eyes staring at me
Looking at your beauty within me
Your vanity mirror, I wish I will ever be

Just got an inspiration from old vanity mirrors drowned deep in the ocean... hahaha

simple concept i guess but this can be interpreted in different views (deeper I guess)

hope someone out there will enjoy reading this...

i interperated this as loosing sight of yourself, the beauty beneath the skin that can be forgotton or surpressed at pint in our lives, either way, i love it and the imagery is beautiful x

Helpful:

loved this so so so much!!!!!!!! I see the simple image but it can mean so so much. To me it represents losing love. You tried to freflect all the person wanted but couldn't so in your own securities you drowned. See I doubt it ment that but to me it did. good job

Wow this is deep maybe its just becaus eir ead th epart where you said you got your inspiration from a mirror in the ocean. But anyway its very deep and i liked the way it went. keep writing.

Well I have to admit it, I went for the deeper interpretation, and it works quite well there. Very nice structure and the complexity of thought is somethign that I enjoyed quite a bit, Nice work here, D.
