~Fire~

Fires are starting
Everywhere you go
You just never know when
One will show

Some need a good soaking
Other should be fanned
Though all of them have this in common:
They ALL need to be manned!

Putting them out isn’t easy
Because of all the glare
You need to be on watch
So that you don’t catch fire there

There’s just as much danger if not more
In fanning them because it’s curious
To keep it contained in proportion
Can be a duty that’s fast and furious

So don’t be startled when you see me work
I’ve been doing this for quite some time
It’s a job I love and am used to
And this is just one of my stories in short rhyme.
