Evening Conspires 
Evening Conspires

This wall of distance
That separates us,
Is like a rock
And a hard place.
Even tho we share the same
Sky on earth’s space
And we revolve
Around the same sun,
And your voice
Is second to none.
After speaking with you
Over telephony wires
I’m always torn between,
A muse that totally inspires,
And feeling so very lonesome.
Especially when evening conspires
To pronounce just me being one

Do you mean"feeling" so very lonesome? That would make more sense, and this piece reminds me of being married. brrrrrr!!

Yes...I can relate. So close, and yet so far. I want to be stronger. I need connection...but don't like waiting....and when the connection comes..I fear losing it...we are so alike in many ways...
