Rough Road 
|
~Rough Road~
People are funny
And you can just never tell
If life will give you honey,
Or if bats will fly in from hell!
Sometimes life hands you cherries
Then all sorts of shit hits the fan.
Yes, life’s obligations and all that carries
Calls for nothing less than a really good tan.
Sometimes that’s all you can do
And I know it’s happening everywhere
Probably experienced it yourself too
It’s a phenomena in which we all share.
It’s been a long rough road
In the case that is mine.
Always knew I was just a toad
Never could do anything right sweet or fine.
But I reached the age of sometime
And I learned to punch with the rollies,
Believing in the word of God,
Jesus His Son and His Father ,The Holy of Holys.
So the richness of life’s beauty found me,
And gripped me by the heels
Even when strife surrounds me,
I can say I know how true love feels.
For the lover of my soul, my God,
Has made me feel true joy and bliss.
With gifts from the Holy Spirit I am odd,
Yes this is the price of His gifts.
But I’d rather be as the Lord sees me
And in love with the God that formed me,
For He is still working with my spirit
With prophecy and teachings in a way I can hear it.
All of these blessings are too many to count
I wish I could name them all here,
But listen to the Holy spirit and what he’s about.
He says and does nothing without the Father’s cheer.
My wishes for you my new little friend,
Is a prayer that your soul will be saved.
For travesty is here now and to be worse in the end.
I pray not to see you in chains and enslaved.
For the end is coming and the time is sure.
Believing and confessing Christ as Messiah is right.
You need to be washed and cleansed by His blood.
This alone makes you righteous in His sight.
