Our Mirror The Sea

Frank Perry penned
the sea is a beating drum.
Sai Baba taught she is
always chanting Om.

Some say she booms.
Others sigh that she sighs.
The tricky believe she hisses.
The gentle write that she

She laps at pier pillars.
She rocks boat cradles.
In hurricanes she roars.
In the Horse Latitudes she is still.

She the Star Mirror,
Gifter of Bottled Messages,
Lifter of all Boats,
Whales' and Dolphins' Home.

God, Lord of the titan, time,
the tideturner, decides each note
of her tidings.

I thoroughly enjoyed this poem, the sea's and oceans's are mysterious, dangerous, friendly, alluring and quite beautiful. Thank you for your kind words on " The Battle of Culloden " - i live 4 miles from there- the last battle on British Soil, thank you so much again, your words are so much appreciated>>Chowa

I love your visions of the Sea, which is the mother of all living things. Lovely!

The late Senator Ted Kennedy said that the sea is where the physical and the spiritual meet. Love your work.
