I love to hear you play your guitar
I know you hear just the music
And of course so do I, that’s where we are
But much more than that
I hear the words, I see the star
In meter and time
The lyrics to your songs in rhyme
Are what makes me move to write
They move me like the sea at night
Like the wind it goes this way
Then another so deftly
I hear the words weight heavily
I’ll sing them to you if you let me
I see them on my pages, they get me
I hear them in my ear
I see them in the air
My voice cries out to be unleashed
Until then my pen must do the release
For I have turned my ears toward your muse
Now let me put my words to use
Your guitar speaks to me
Weakens me into lyrics strong
For your song

I can also do lyrics, not music. The only thing I ever learned to play was the sex organ.
