A man strode up to me
And had this to say:
“I can tell you love Jesus
In that most important way,
You believe He is you Savior.”
I replied,” Jesus is my King.”
Could he tell by my behavior?
He said he had a special something
And said that he was supposed
To give it to me.
Out of his shirt pocket he proposed,
A cross is what I did see.
Keeping it next to his heart,
Said to wear it without any ado.
What he said next gave me a start,
“Because you are one of the chosen few.”
