Cobalt Clarity
The Moment of Clarity
The moment of clarity may come to life Letting go of holding on to self-inflicted strife Saying farewell to the many fair weather friends And lending yourself to new acquaintances Dropping your guard to new possibilities And opening your door to new opportunities You get a new view stepping up off your knees Rub your eyes and get real with what you see But are you who you thought you’d be Working for the world to be your oyster now Or is that worth your soul anyhow What is worth it to you? To fake it till you make it last a lifetime Just what would you do? What is your favorite pastime? What are your favorite hobbies babe? Eating poppies or robbing graves Could be there’s a lot of you Living within me Looking back at us In the mirror in which we bask There are truthful yet torrid questions In the eyes that need to be asked If you’re being real They’ll bring you to pure honesty This brings you back round To the moments of clarity
