Ready to Win
I’d love to tell you all my story
In all its fashion, function and glory,
But there’s not enough time paper or money
To keep the ball rolling
From the start to the blessed end of it honey.
It’s no big deal,
Or anything like that see
It’s just that there’s a lot
That I’ve done
And even more that’s happened to me
It’s all still happening too
Every day that I still breathe
There’s always a phase or circumstance
I’m finding myself going thru
In and out, thru and around
Right side up and upside down.
Inside out and right side in
Clustered and blustered
But mostly flustered within
Ready to eat custard from tin
Ready anytime now
Ready to win.
