wake up late,
to cross town no green~
gotta be there on time!!
do you know what i mean?

the presentation had a deadline,
production just cant stop~
the show it must go on,
even tho you're gonna pop!

lottsa cups of coffee today,
yet down the hall is just too far~
before you know it done is the day,
on the freeway and in the car.

working late on the computer,
weekend tinkering on the car~
tired, washing the dinner dishes,
it just doesn't matter where you are.

maybe it's the last puzzle piece,
that you really need to find~
or working on a little ditty,
and forgot the witty next line?

yes, the world has us on task,
somebody always has a place to be~
but you know the pace is just too fast,
when you can't make the time to pee!

i love the way you use everyday language in your writes, something i struggle with. My job means i am always on task , always on call, never far from the boss's next task and so this rsonated with me Nice work
