Hello,
I just got here and I’m new
I don’t really know anyone
Would you come here?
and sit with me?
For just a little while?
You’ve got such a pretty smile.
And I think we could get along fine.
Can I get you some thing to drink?
Maybe a glass of wine?
And what would you have me do.
To prove I’m not some freak?
No I’m just weak,
For a bright pretty smile.
So come tell me your story
and sit for awhile
I’m not looking
For any type of glory.
Just maybe to make you grin,
Showing to me
That you understand
What good hands you’re in
Let me see that smile
just one more time
Just for awhile let it be mine
Until you get bored
With me watching you
Just for a while
Little girl child
Sit and talk to me
Until you feel the need
To be set free
