The Prominent Phenomena 
The Prominent Phenomena

There are certain words that capture me,
Like a rabbit in a furriers trap,
Or a doe eyed deer in your headlights,
Or a motherless kitten in your lap.

Words, words, words,
It’s a world full of a wonderful phenomena
Snatched from the air everywhere
Some casual, some prominent
An exceptional necessity at times
And when seemingly not needed
It’s because they’ve been preceded
By some solid history of clues
Usually already picked up
By some superfluous cues

As a fellow wordsmith I find this one delightful!! At first I thought it was about something else that is delightful as well but after reading it I see you have something more substantial in mind. (and longer lasting)This is sort of what I was getting at in the introduction in my book.Glad you like it. Words are the most enduring and powerful things people will ever produce and I'm delighted to be here among folks who know that. Well done iviedoe.
