Dare 
|
Dare
So finally I cry out loudly as thunder,
Dear Father God for you I deeply hunger!
Please when can I begin,
To ever live with laughter?
Times goes swiftly by,
And I’m not getting any younger.
Is it now or never or just in the hereafter?
Isn’t abundant life here on earth
Part of the dealings?
As I confess Jesus as Christ, King and Lord
To get forgiveness and healings?
Help me Father your daughter
Loves you more and more,
Send your Holy Spirit;
Don’t leave me on this swing.
I pray to you gracious Father God,
All of these things.
You who knows my heart,
To wherever I will finish,
From wherever I did start.
Every deep dark murderous loathsome part.
Only you Father can save this whirl of a girl,
I seem to be.
I don’t even know who is really me.
But I do know Jesus and I know Jesus is the key.
In the mane of Jesus,
I put all my hopes, faith and certainty.
There’s no grater love,
Than the one You’ve shown me.
For I have seen in many ways,
Even in my darkest days,
And in the most manic of haze,
Your Son in my heart has cut through the haze.
Even though the darkness,
Has such a permanent shift,
And is so not just a rift,
I still will cling to the name of Jesus.
No matter how thick the malaise.
No matter how glossy my gaze.
But make me to recover Lord.
By the mighty sword
Of your Holy Spirit.
So that all others may see your glory,
And when I testify, they’ll hear it.
Jesus your only begotten Son,
Shed His sinless blood for all by the One.
The only to be named as the Christ.
Loving, selfless, fully to complete His sacrifice.
So real, so sweet, so right,
So right now.
I love you so much because you loved me first.
And when I realize what I have in you,
It seems I just may burst.
For your Son and Your enduring mercies,
I am so thirsty.
In the powerful name,
Of the One and the same,
Who took all my sin and shame,
Hung on the cross,
Paid all my cost,
To the wages of death and sin.
So that I may live,,
And in Him I win.
In him there is true victory,
Through Him all have been set free,
Please help me tell others,
About this sweet delivery.
This free gift of grace,
By seeking your face,
And confessing our iniquities bar none,
Asking for forgiveness how sweet your Only Son,
When He enters your heart,
But by a simple plea.
Lord of Lords and King of Kings is He!!!
And ready, willing, and able to make you free.
In the loveliest name ever to be known among men.
Jesus the Christ is the only One,
Yesterday, today, tomorrow,
Now, then, and always again.
He’s all I really want or need,
So please save me now, oh Lord I plead.
I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
I’ll say it again,
Amen and Amen.
