Chorale

There’s nothing like a friend,
That’s promised to promise-
To be one until the end.
Standing side by side,
Walking in time,
To one another’s stride.
Walking in the friendship,
Of Our Lord’s pride.
For Our Lord to smile brightly,
At the tightness,
That He’s made in us.
To become as one,
In the good fight,
With His Son.
He’s made a brotherhood to last,
An eternity.
To live eternally,
With Him.
