Life Happens 
|
Get up and out,
Shut up the pout!
Tho physically spent
Mentally bent,
And emotionally broke.
Muster up just one more stroke,
And then turn that into one more.
Be the kid who rides the tides,
Not simply abides,
But choose a side,
Make it your life
Or break it wide open as a lie.
After that's all worked out,
Give the guy next to you
A shove or a shout.
'Cos unless he's holdin'
A four leaf clover,
If he's not doing much,
Tell him to move over.
You'll be in like flynn,
And better than him,
At wanting to be more
Than you are today.
Brighter and more brilliant,
When now becomes yesterday.
Every person has a song to sing,
A bell to ring-
Something special about themselves,
Worthy to bring up off the shelves
Tho dusty or rusty,
It don't matter in those ways.
'Cos it's really life that happens,
While you're busy
Mappin' out your days!!!!
