Dont Ponder Too Much 
|
Innocent tho not niave,
This will help you thru'your crushed beliefs:
In the midst of these broken hearts,
It's easy to get lost.
But the price is cheap,
At twice the cost,
To get yourself back to the sweetest parts.
That's where all the healing starts!
Where horses are actually put before the carts.
Even in the middle of all the rest,
Just don't give up on this trial, this test.
Don't become one of those,
'Apple Eyes'
Don't ponder too much,
Don't rationalize
or give away a whole bunch.
It's that beating thing inside your chest,
That makes each one not like the rest.
Play your hand,
But play it close to the vest.
Because this is the real matter,
What I say next is so true:
The world with all it's beauty,
Would not be as beautiful
Without you.
Don't ponder too much,
Don't ever let up,
Just because one dump,
Let you down.
