Discern It With Care
|
Can it be truth if there is no sense
Of sense in it?
Can you trust yourself to kmow
Sense when you see it?
And what if it sees you first?
Pay attention to you thirst!
But don't let your nose lead you around.
Keep Your ear to the ground,
And watch your back
When you're downtown.
Even your own street has serious sounds!
What do you think?
Do you give it thought?
Do you have ideas,
And make dreams into a road-
Where you can be bouncy and bound
To turn your hell
Into a lost and found?
Don't bother just burn it,
Don't take it back to return it.
Leave it all and relearn it!
Discern it with care,
And leave it right there.
What's fair is fair,
To the wig without any hair.
You don't have to settle there!
Blood bought,
And free to be me,
For HIM.
