Altitude Not Attitude

In this wonderful life of ours,
It is as wonderful as we make it.
Just gotta reach around,
'Till you can grab hold and take it.
If it's a dream that's good and lovely,
As far as you can see-
Then beleive in who you are,
Because you've always been,
Who you long to be.
Stretch your imaginitive muscles kids,
And take it all the way-
In baby-step strides,
The slippery slides,
And the low and high tides.
Teach yourself to abide,
The unthinkable about you.
Transform your fortitude,
From attitude-
To altitude, dude.
You'll soon find,
You've become unsinkable,
In the one battle that matters,
The one in your mind.
The many shoots and ladders,
May be of some concern at the moment,
Or at a bad unfortunate time.
But they always come back around-
With a silky sound,
The reason and the rhyme-
That we all long to chime.
