WHEN WE WERE YOUNG
WHEN WE WERE YOUNG
AND RUNNING CAREFREE..
THE ONLY THING THAT
SEEMED TO MATTER
WAS THE NEXT TIME
WE'D BE TOGETHER...

NOW, SOMETHINGS DIFFERENT
SOMETHINGS CHANGED...
I HARDLY SEE YOU ANYMORE
YOUR SHADOW HARDLY
EVER DARKENS MY DOOR..

WAS IT SOMETHING I DID?
WAS IT SOMETHING I SAID?
I WISH I KNEW, ITS
DRIVING ME OUTTA MY HEAD!

WHEN WE WERE YOUNG
WE PROMISED EACHOTHER..
UNTIL DEATH DO US PART..
I'M STILL BREATHING, YET
WE'RE SO FAR APART...

Funny how time changes things. Some love grows stronger and some fades away. A sadly beautiful write. Thanks for sharing. Take care and Have fun. Steve
