came in for...

came in for
 cigarettes and beer
was the biggest
blizzard that year

i rode the counter
he rode his skidoo
in that white world
there was just us two

he didn't linger
i was on my 3'rd shift
but, i wished for a ride
over the snow adrift.

Helpful? Thumbs UpThumbs Down
