Closer Closer~~~

I paid 25 cents to see a dancing poodle sing
You should have been there to hear such a thing !
It cost me a dollar to ride the flaming merry go round,
You should've been there to see it burn to the ground!
I shelled out 50 whole dollars to see at cobra the zoo,
I wish you'd been there to eat the damn thing; you mongoose you!!!

So, where are you now?
It's been awhile
Since you've come around.
To and fro,
I hear your footsteps sound.
Nearer, nearer, please to me~~
Closer, closer, To feel and see;
Just how amazing we two,
Could the real, really be.
