Mischievous imps …
flew into the starlit sky.
Across a moonbeam they did fly:
Draw a rainbow, paint the sky
from dawn till dusk – way up high!
Send messages of love
Via lots of little turtle dove (s)
If that should fail this is what they’d do ...
just throw a kiss >>> to you and you!
Free spirits they’d be ~ ~ ~
With softest feathers they’d tickle thee.
Imps still in impeccable form
will try to check what is the norm.
From that place that’s in the sky
questioned not nor reasoned why.
All they want to do is have some fun,
while they are duly on the ‘run’.
Kept this writer up in bed, at nite
contemplating what to write.
Still insists on having fun,
with my muse till verse is done.
“What’s the use in putting up a fight
when all you’ve got to do is write !!”
and now – farewell – good nite!.
