Ö on the wall
Tell me a story thatís not too tall!
Oh beauty why dost thou fade so fast?
Somehow I thought youíd last!

Just spend some time with me
I need you, canít you see!

Help me contain the charm I put aside
for a lover to be my guide Ö
along the sunshine way,
to embrace my qualities Ė give me time of day!

Let him judge me from within
knowing that though the light grows dim,
Iím still a gal with pride - got nothing more to hide.

Iíve got that glowing personality...
am of highest, cleanest morality.

Take a look and see that beyond all vanity
The aim is always one of humility.

In the mirror I look >>>>>
and if you should follow the book
beauty be only what the beholder will see!

Mirrors are only able to display the reflection of the outside of a person but cannot penetrate the skin. In a world where vanity outer beauty seems so important the inner self is forgotten. Here you ask that your potential man looks beyond the skin and sees you for who you are on the inside. Looks are temporary but personality can be permanent. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

Here is a man that is appreciative of good qualities, good values. You have recaptured one of my favourites. Thanks for bringing it back on page. You spoil me with points. Have a good night! Sorry its 11.10pm. Time flies!

Beauty not Beast
Sad and funny, good combination Kitty. When they say Beauty is in the eye of the beholder that is exactly right. This obsession with beauty and appearance is entirely down to women. It is what is on the inside that matters and reading and receiving to and from you I would say that you are "A" class material. Rod.

I blush, kind sir! lost for words at such ...such ... a kind review and comments. There are some vain men, I'd say!

A common sentiment that sets us up for betrayal by the cruel reality of the looking glass but you are right to depict beauty as coming from within, may our lovers always look there. This had me nodding in agreement and sympathy well done.

Had me smiling too. Glad you are in agreement! Thanks for a light hearted feedback, the stars, points and of course those smiley chaps. Have a happy week end!

Did one similar some time ago called; "Mirrors and Scales" meant to be funny, turned out tragically prophetic.
