Off With My head!

Oh my honor and my dignity,
I'd sooner lose them both
To assure my complete identity
In the body of Jesus the Christ

And this popular school of thought
I read it in the news press and on T.V.
Not one mention that we are blood bought
Thru the body of Jesus the Christ

I cry out for the lover of my soul
The one true wise omnipotent God,
Creator of all and the author of my goal,
In the body of Jesus the Christ.

It's not easy to live in the light,
To walk in the spirit with truth and love,
In this world that lusts after the night
And not in the body of Jesus the Christ.

I'm not perfect by any aspect,
But I'm forgiven thru grace by faith
never giving up on the respect,
In the body of Jesus the Christ.

Not giving up on the good fight,
To do right -
In god's sight, because I am a part of
The body of Jesus the Christ.
