I am Free!

The days are lonely with out you
the nights are even longer now I'm alone.
They haunt me, these tears that I've shed
many a heartache, the ones that I bled.

Too many times you broke my heart
to many times you tore it apart.
Someday you'll regret leaving me this way
it was all for nothing for why didn't you stay.

Now I'm alone again this time for good
you don't have to worry, I understood.
You didn't want to be burdened with someone like me
you wanted out, you thought to be free.

Well now your free to do what you will
I wont bother you, I've had my fill
My heart was broken, you seen to that
and now I live in misery, and that's a fact!

I know exactly how you feel. Pain and heartache has to be something we have to deal with in life. But I hope your pain can heal. Keep writing.

Oh, so sad....

I know exactly how you're feeling Elfqueena...my heart is full of pain too. I feel that one can only begin to heal once they let their feelings be known - which you have now done.

This poem was very well worded and I could feel the pain as I read through to the end.
