Quiet Night

All is quiet, all is still
As the moon shines onto the window sill
No one is around
To disturb the sacred ground
Not a movement, not a sound
As the planets orbit round and round
Empty like a sleeping mind
Filtering all of the noise out behind
When the air becomes crisper
Nothing escapes, not even a whisper
And as the world falls fast asleep
Enjoying the quiet is hard to resist

Helpful:

I felt there was some nice description used here, and that the piece had a pleasing and easy flow to it along the way. A very pleasant poem overall that I enjoyed reading through. Thank you for sharing this one.
