Carried by a dream

Dreaming about the highland forest again
Walking upon a rarely trodden trail
Cresting the ridge where it does bend
And descends into a thickly wooded vale

Carried by a dream up into the forest deep
A weary body at rest and a roaming soul
Flickering slivers of light as the shadows creep
Far beyond where the resort campers stroll

Come frolic with me all through the day
Into the night under a full silver moon
Take a chance and come this way
Should I expect your visit soon ?

Take my hand and walk with me
A bed of soft grass weíll share
Iíll make you wild and set you free
Far from your every little care

In passionate bliss, I taste your sweet lips
Into the west the sun has all but sunk
In sweet embrace the time slowly slips
And youíll look even lovelier once Iím drunk

Helpful? Thumbs UpThumbs Down
Another fine piece here - Good rhythm, and flow to it, with good description also. I'm enjoying your work so far.

my thanks
