In The Moonlight

Love me amidst the baskets of blooming hibiscus.
Sing melodies to me with lyrical charms.
Fulfill my deepest of wishes.
Bathe me in the sensuality of your arms.

Cradle me tight under blankets of rapture.
Shimmers of gold under your feet.
Like a rose's essence my heart you have captured.
Tonight by moonlight we shall meet.

Moon dust dances around your sweet face.
Your green eyes reflect the stars.
Your strong hands you place around my waist.
My love we shall never part.

Tantalize me with potions
of your poetic verses.
I smell the perfume of our loving devotion.
Your song through my mind disperses.

The moon follows your brilliance
sparkles illuminate your skin.
Your words encrypted into the sky by millions.
To mysterious places my heart you send.

Let's dance under glow of moon's lamp.
While fireflies serve as our candles.
Upon my soul is your love stamped.
With eloquent grace our love you handle.

Exquisite indeed!
I loved the lyrical quality of this piece. The sweetness of the details that you portrayed here overflowed and it sent out moments of pure bliss and romance. Your choice of words indeed captured the sense of true love and the even flow and rhythm only brought this piece to life. Well done! It deserves it's place in the spotlight

Loved it
It's awesome. Very concrete imagery of a very abstract concept; love. you just have a way with words, and your pacing is good I just wasn't sure about the juxtaposition between the 4th and 5th stanzas. Great Job!

Spotlight
All of your Romance and erotic poems are wonderful. When we are in love then we feel the love with all of our senses. We can taste, feel, see, hear, and smell the love when we are in love. This is very romantic my friend. Are you this romantic as a person too or just in the world of words, wink. haha.

Thank you soul!! My darling says I am the most passionate woman he has ever known. I assume he is telling me the truth..lol TY again.your friend, Caroline

I am Jealous. Maybe I fell behind. He is a lucky son of a Gun. haha. I am sure he is telling you the truth. If a creation can make guys melt then I can only guess what happens when the creator herself is there. Well wishes for you two.

beautiful
And capture it you have. Something has changed in your writing. You have definitely lifted to a new level (if that were possible). This verse is exquisite in its detail and its beauty. Using the moonlight as a them for romance is a winning formula, but you make this look simple, though it certainly is anything but. Beautiful. SL

Oh you
Oh stop it BW,, you are such a romantic girl , next thing I know you will be saying your love travels across the galaxy on a star dust to discover new planets across the innermost recess of the meta galaxy and just for one kiss you deviated an asteroid from its collision course with earth. I know you BW, so I won't put that past you.

J'adore!
In The Moonlight... don't shining stars shine at brightest light when moon reflects their lover's glory? does not the sky seem a heaven alone? in need of love red lipstick streak like brush of hummingbird heart and phoenix wing. ~touchable love with golden string thread, unyielding. strong. secure. safe.
~sweet in the bright light, the sunshine, the dark fight - oh how this depicted love excites my own and my soul to the very stars themselves. i want to take trip around maze of galaxies from such beauty in love poem.
Intoxicated In The Moonlight.... oh bookworm, i lose thought train, perfume of intoxication lost me... where was i?

(Author)
ahhhhh my dear Jadore...you are so very kind in your review and I just loved what you wrote in your stunning verses here. TY my dear friend...BW
