Show me your smile, and hold yourself dear

don't tell me that that puddle,
was filled with your tears,
i don't want you crying,
i thought that was clear,
so show me your smile,
and hold yourself dear,
your fans are all waiting,
the stage has been cleared,
I don't want the ugly,
I don't want the weird,
they see the same thing,
you see in the mirror,
don't tell me that pond there,
was filled with your tears,
now come now they're waiting,
they know that your here.

Helpful? Thumbs UpThumbs Down
good poem
Very good poem about reassurance and the verse and rhyme are well laid out and the wordplay is spot on.
