Words in Ink
|
When words can't visit my lips
Which I often times find myself in
When emotions are screaming
But my voice is timid to give in
I find my refuge in black ink
My fingers and pen; my shield
I wipe the falling tears and fears
With the softness of the papers
Though my heart is kept from eyes
You can still feel and hear it; alive
It can speak of thousand words
It can see and touch your very soul
My life is flowing through words
Written passionately and dark
Encrypted in those timid letters
My deep emotions and secrets
I find my refuge in black ink
My asylum through my writings
Words break the silence in me
My very soul, I bare naked
