|
I can still remember
the day when you left me
It seems like yesterday
I can still see you walking
out on me
You said you had to wander
Have to find yourself with no me
And you told me you love
Just needed some time to be free
So I pretended, I was not hurting
And said I'll be alright
As long as you're happy
Then I'll be just fine
But my heart got heavy
As you walked out that door
I can't seem to feel my feet
But I found myself running at that door
Outside the rain was pouring
As heavy as my breathing
And my tears were like rain
They drenched myself completely
And I said to myself
I'll be alright
As long as you're happy
I'll be just fine
And now as I remember
The day when you left me
Today it's not raining
But I'm soaking again in tears
Saying I'll be alright
As long as you're happy
As long as you're alive
I'll be just fine
But I won't be alright
'Cause I'm saying goodbye to you
With flowers in my hand
Staring up to the heavens
Where you'll forever stay
So please say to me
That I'm gonna be alright

I'm trying to make this a lyrics, but I don't know if it's gonna be good...
lol.... though I feel this doesn't sound good as a poem too...
just wanted to share..
