~~Lover’s Sonnet~~~



When you sing your silent song of the lover’s sonnet
I see the moon and stars in your eyes
I just can’t keep it under my bonnet
And that should really be no surprise
There’s words unsaid by just the understanding
In the conviction of your tone
And the rhyming that you’re landing
Says that nothing of our love has gone
It’s the sexiest of songs my love
And I’ll remember every word
Like from God’s lips straight to my ears
And I am hypnotized and lured
What more is there to say about this
That you’ve not already sang to me?
Except the never ending sense of bliss
Poignantly brought on by the purity of security
The future may hold many twists and turns
But we’ll face them side by side
You know for what it is I yearn
And there’s nothing between us to hide.
