Friends Anyway

Waving your guns
At someone like me,
Well you should know,
I won’t let that be!

I’ve got too much to lose
And way too much to gain,
See, I’m winning already,
By making you my friend!

There was a time
When that wasn’t so,
There was a time,
When that was a no-go.

Now I know the love of Christ,
And that we’re not a lost cause,
We’re gonna be friends anyway,
No reason sweetie, just because!
