Hi, my name is John. If you're reading this, you're probably a stranger. They say you guys have the best candy, so welcome! Anyway : D , I hope that you enjoy and get something out of what you read here, if you so choose to(thanks in advance, if you do).

I've been writing since 2002. One night that year, a friend of mine, Anthony, asked me if I wanted to try at writing a song with him - one of many spur of the moment ideas we brought to life, like a marshmallow roasting contest ; )  I soon discovered a new way to liberate my thoughts and emotions (new for me anyway), and while my friends interest in writing soon faded and moved on to other things, I was beginning something that has wholly changed my life in ways I can only say  have been wonderfully positive.

Songs have always attracted me (or had a deal break) with their lyrics, and most of what I have written since that first attempt 15 years ago is in the form of song lyric. I think lyrics are a form of poetry, anyway : ) Someday, I do hope to convert a fair number of the lyrics I have written into recorded songs. Some already have the sheet music ready. In the meantime, how ever good they may be, I do cherish them for what they have meant to me, and I hope they bring something to you. Thanks for stopping in, i'm real grateful : )
