Driving a truck long distance allows me a great deal of time to think and formulate ideas about many topics from all aspects of life. What would I do without my satelite radio and the talk stations. And, once I'm cruising I can look at an old dilapidated barn or homestead and imagine the folk in old fashioned garb doing what they had to do in those days. Usually I'll think of a poetic theme. Maybe it's about the rugged individualism of the pioneers or a child that I can almost see looking at me through the mist of time wondering why I'm intruding. That's how it goes most days. Instead of concenting on driving, I wander to distant lands I've been to, given the slightest distraciton that reminds me of someone or somewhere. It's not always easy to put it in words, but there's the rub. Golf is my love and nemesis, people my intrigue, and women, well what can I say. I remain, your humble servant etc. etc. Rory
