| It is very deep, it kinda made me think of Lucifer's falling at the beginning of the poem. I hope you don't get offended by that. I am not sure if you will consider this a critical review, but I honest to Jebus enjoyed reading this. Each stanza was one hard hitter after another. Real talent doesn't come along like that everyday. |

I think we have all felt this at one point... sympathy, empathy... emotions that make us feel bad for the ones who have done us wrong.
If he felt the blood pulse in his hands
then maybe he'd understand
the worthlessness of man
when war is waged again
a violent heart is caged
in death, we take our last steps
the monster wanted this
the monster wanted it to end
in a nonsensical way
This was my favorite part of your poem. I do hope to read more from you in the future. |
