People often forget the importance of looking back and thanking their ancestors. I'm glad you honored yours in this poem.

My Review of Her Life by RachelMurray
Inspiring indeed
Sometimes, love is all we need to heal us or at least show us the sunshine once after being in the dark for long.

My Review of Christmas Is Coming by RachelMurray
I've read two other poems of yours and they were great, this was no different. You're not the only one who is not excited about Christmas though. I guess it's just part of growing old or growing up.

My Review of He Tried by RachelMurray
A tribute to soldiers who fought in the war. Your poem captured the hardship that war veterans went through. I like the way you tell a story and paint the picture through words. Keep on writing.

My Review of Can't Let You In by RachelMurray
"My heart is so guarded
Iíve thrown away the key
I didnít think this would happen
Now that I want to be free"

I like this line of your poem, maybe because we have similar issues, we can't trust people with our hearts, probably because we had been hurt before or someone close to us was hurt because of trusting too much. i love how you were able to express your feelings in your poem. In the end, it's your choice whether you want to take a chance with this guy or not. Choose the one with more bearable consequence(s) for you.

My Review of Out of darkness by leo1129
Good
People who had been through what your character is experiencing can relate with her but those who can't might not. Your story has the complete ingredient but there's still something lacking. Something that will make it more distinctive and one that will leave a mark on your readers. Nice story though, thanks for sharing it.

My Review of [Untitled] by Ozma
Nice
People are rarely satisfied with what they have. We always desire things we don't have and when we finally get what we want, we get tired of it and want another thing. Your poem says it all.

Wonderful
Despite of all the pain, the world is still beautiful and it is good to be alive and be a part of this world. Your poem says it all, it reminds me of one of my favorite songs too. Keep on inspiring people through your writing.

My Review of Of All The Poems by RachelMurray
A meaningful poem
"Between the lines
Of all the poems I write
I find pieces of me
That I wish to leave behind
These secrets
That I donít want to see
Find a way into my works
Silently teasing me"
These lines hit me 'cause it happens to me too, whenever I write, I leave a part of myself behind. In my opinion, all writers leaves a part of themselves when they write, it's what makes a craft beautiful, it may not be perfect but beautiful nonetheless. Your poem is beautiful.

Lovely
This poem is short but it shows one of the realities of life. All of us wears a mask yet sometimes it can be tiring and so the mask cracks. I'm glad you remembered this poem and shared it here.

Good job
It's a good story, you have a talent in story-telling, you describe the scenes well and if you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have known that English is your second language. The story was good but the ending was a bit abrupt but all in all it is good.

Your wife is a lucky woman. The poem may not be very sentimental but it expresses how thankful you are for having her as your wife. Short, straight forward and touching. Good poem.

My Review of They Died In Each Other Arms by mattpantaleon
Is this a true story?
The poem is sad, but that's life. We don't really know when we'll leave this earth. I hope this didn't happen to you in real life or to someone you knew. It's really sad but that's reality.
