It's gotta stop raining eventually...

Yeah, I get mostly positive reviews on my poetry, and I just got my first fan today. I think I may be starting to get popular. An advice for an aspiring poet?

Congrats

Really just keep going it like you are I think. Obviously you're doing something right and if you feel you need to improve something then do so. One thing, unless you post like every day or something very close together like that, I would say PM your fans when you post something new. Since they obviously like your writing they'd probably appreciate knowing when you have more poetry  :green:

Fans are great. When I realized I actually had fans my chin must have hit the floor. They are good for the ego. smile

Why do we have hearts when they break so easily?

Congradulations, my dear friend.  I remember getting my first fan a long time ago.  I was estatic!  Of course, I had no idea I had a fanclub, like everyone else.  When I realized that there was a fanclub, my reaction was "oh my goodness! Someone loves me enough to create a fanclub for me!" But then I realized it was an automatic fanclub that every member has.  I was a bit crestfallen, but I was happy nonetheless.

I don't think I've gotten any fans yet, but that day will come eventually, right?

Deadserious, I think it's spelt "congratulations," but I can't be sure.  I don't want to be a smarty pants.

I thought it was spelled congradulations, but I would have to spellcheck that.  I am not the worlds best speller, and I won't be winning any spelling bees anytime soon.

In third grade, I lost the class spelling bee because I spelled "yellow" as "yello".  Needless to say, I was quite embarrased.

Moment of nostalgia there. My apologies. smile

Don't worry, GrammyBlue.  You will eventually get a fan.  Everyone does.  Everyone on this site has wonderful talent that is (usually) appreciated by others.

'Anarchy Never Looked This Sexy'

On a note, what if we all think of each other as fans?

Oh man me with the barney stuff here, but who cares

about fans, for all you know, you could have fans all

over just too afraid to push a button on screen.

Am a real man to see it as pushing a button.

Apparently I am all your fans, no big deal to me.

: ) and xoxoxoxo are the ways to go.

I see your point, but it's still a good feeling for someone to take on that title officially. That's why I always thank them  big grin

Yeah, like how they like your poems so much that they'd take time to be a fan of you.  (Even though it takes 3 seconds with high-speed internet.)
