Anyone in WN competing in the National Novel Writing Month?  50K words from Nov 1 - Nov 30  Midnight.  165,000 writers world-wide entered last year, 30,000 finished.

Still time to sign-up.  Think it would be a fun topic here in the Lounge.  I hear NaNoWriMo is a excruciatingly painful writing experience, a controlled mania.  Great excuse for abusing those writing tools- you know, coffee, wine, tobacco,  whatnot's , uh,  well,  rolls eyes, and have an excuse to be a recluse for a change...  lol, speaking for myself that is.

Here's my link where you should be able to navigate to enroll.  http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/689364

O yea, the winners get nothing but a little gold icon by their name-  it's all about ????- I don't know, but what the hell, Serendipity may take control and something Good might happen.- or not.

So, anyone doing it?  Would like to hear from you.  Thanks   .

Well the 50,000 words are complete, my NaNoWriMo obligations finished.  Too bad It's only me in WN who tried.  It was an interesting experiment in speed writing.

It's something to consider.

You'll have to consider it pretty fast.  The longer you take to enter, the shorter amount of time you have to write the 50,000 words.

I was so determined to do NaNo, this year.  But I just get wrapped up in other things and never even start.  -sighs-  good luck to everyone that's participating.
