Hello Writers,
We are very happy to announce the completion of several new areas on Writers-Network.com. The first is a completely new section that lists all the newest writing on the site. You can easily browse writing by type, description, genre, type, date and more.

The next upgrade was a new genres/search page that allows you to browse writing by category as well as perform an advanced search on all the writing submitted to our site. Now you can find the exact type of writing you like to read!

We've topped all of this off with a central "Reading at Writers-Network" page that lists all the reading sections on the site so you can easily find what you are looking for, whether its the search page or the shameless plug page.

You may have also noticed we are now featuring various types of content around the site, like:
New Members
PRO Members
UN-Reviewed Writing
Writing By Online Members

These new featured blurbs will rotate  users and writing every 10 or so minutes to continuously bring you fresh content. We hope this will encourage members to give an extra review here and there and maybe even welcome a newbie  smile

Enjoy!

Death... We all know of it, yet we all fear its aura.  It leaves behind a lingering odor and commotion of emotions we wish not to organize. Some wish to shy away, yet we all end up meeting it someday.  Some open their arms gratefully when that day comes... I wish to be one of those people.

I like the image "lingering odor"  it brings to mind a smell of old things and a musty smell.

I have a quick question if you don't mind tho, I've noticed in the past that many writers have been or were reposting poems or something so they would show up in the newest and they would get more critiques or views or something. how did they do that? isnt there something here to stop it?

There is nothing to prevent that, however, if you choose to do that you are losing your points. Each time you submit your writing entry, it costs 5 points. If you delete the entry and resubmit it, it will cost you an additional 5 points (which you do not get back from deleting).

This is no official rule against that at this time but it is very much frowned upon. If you know of a member who is consistently doing this, please report it to us.
