....i guess that my post was unnecessary, but it was just random to bring up a quote that someone posted about being banned, it didnt even go with the subject now, plus that was back on march 12, 2011, way before this

The chat rooms are down every time I check back. Why is this? When will they be back up again? I miss talking to fellow writers.

If you haven't checked back since this past summer than you've simply experienced the same down multiple times.  It's down for the same reasons that have been posted multiple times in this thread.  We all want it back, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon.

We will all just have to live with using the forums, personal messages, and critiques to communicate with one another until the chat room is back.

well I my self want whateverybody wants but it seem we are not getting it, so I am going to try and find another site that has chat, no I am not giving up on wn but i need the interaction of people, it seems like they ruined it for us ( chat)

You're welcome. We're going to give the chat room another try, though it is on a trial basis. We hope that everyone can get along, respect the rules, and lend a hand to keep the peace in there so that we don’t have to shut it down permanently.
