MOM - Poem for review
When I wake in the morning I’m thinking of you
When I go to sleep your asleep too
Your face told a story of questions and answers
Your body told a story of courage and tolerance
Your hands showed that hard work was something never to be afraid of
Your feet so ticklish it made me laugh
Your heart so tiny yet so big
BUT what I will remember most of all is the stare that you gave me without any words when we had just finished chatting about life n things…. That stare held the strength of a thousand soldiers and the hand you gave me the love of MOM xx

Beautiful!
The only change you might make is the spelling of
your
to
you're
in "When I go to sleep your asleep too."
Poetictwin, I lost my mother a few years ago. Writing is a comfort. It can help get you through the grief. This was written from your heart. Very powerful stuff. Thanks for sharing. Keep writing!

Re: MOM - Poem for review
Emotional poem about the loss of your mother. She seemed to have taught you an important lesson. You should work hard for everything you want except love. If is it true and unconditional then it will always be there in a touch, word or stare.
I think you might shorten the last lines. But thats just a personal thing of liking all lines to be somewhat the same length.
Keep writing.
