Halloween.....back in the day


The stars were bright and the moon was high

A dark spooky night and times flying by

For weeks we thought about what we would be

Costumes were made by Mom and me

Kids were happy and parents never grim

They had candy bowls filled to the rim

We traveled with smiles from door to door

Adults loved the costumes and all wanted more

We said Trick or Treat and of course Thank you

Back in the day.....that's what we would do

On All Hollow's Eve,
On a spooky dark night,
The Grim reaper stirs,
During this evening of fright.

He sits and he waits,
For the next day to arrive,
With a smile and grin,
and death by his side.

He laughs all alone on Halloween night,
knowing your death will be planned just right.

All Hallows eve, the spookiest of nights.
Thoughts obsessed with grim delights.
Tales of headless horsemen
And carnivorous gourds
Attack our minds like Celtic hordes.
Follow them, celebrate this season,
If for no other reason,
To act as Autumn thinks.

All Hallow`s Eve
Spooky night that it be.
Hiding your faces.
Your identities.
Hoping the Horrors.
Would just pass you by.
Grim Ripper lurking.
To take you away.
Halloween tomorrow.
Will you last till the day.

Spooky and melancholy night,
A Halloween of hysterics.
Children frolic in youth's delight,
In constumes of man's generics.

The witch's broom,
The crescent moon,
The vampires at my door.
"Trick or treat"
A saddened retreat,
The confections are no more.

         Halloween Fright

It’s Halloween night, I’m not ready to die, They call me crazy and I don’t know why.
I’m a victim of horror and a victim of fright, No one understands the power of night.

Zombies, witches, mummies and ghouls, All so grim, Running amuck and acting like fools.
They  howled and growled  to give us a fright, But I was attacked on this particular night.

The demons of  dark, the monsters of night, They thought they would give me a wonderful fright.
I screamed, I cried, and I tried to run. But all they cared about was having some fun.

They laughed , I cried. They screamed I died.
Now I join them on this wonderful night , Only to give you a wonderful and spooky fright.

Can you smell it in the air?
Can you smell it everywhere?
Creepy ghouls from near and far...
How I wonder where you are?
Starry nights you come alive
Into our dreams you do arrive
So go give a scare
If you dare
To those who are not aware
Happy Halloween!

Night. a dark  and endless space  for deserted and hungry soul.
a thin boundary between life and death.
for these night  isn't just a lockstep of darkness this is real darkness.
;spooky and grim.
Can you hear that?
the spooky sound of the  Grim Reaper 's chain.
drawing nearer  and nearer finding  an abandoned soul.
for it hunger  and thirst on a soul that mourn in this endless night.

As you walk in this spooky night
He wait  for you until he knew that your all alone
and  he'll ripped your soul apart ,
and abandon you in this spooky night.
A night of darkness; spooky and grim.

its the creepy,
             dark and slimy night,
             goblins and witches wander in the darkness,
             pumpkins are puffed up bright and orange,
             scary the color of this night,
             each ear on the lookout,
             looking out for the yummy tummy....
