Resistance is futile!

Never really noticed where I write most of the time. The living room I guess if I had to pinpoint a place. Doesn't really matter to me 'cuz whatever room I'm writing in just melts away into darkness and all I see is my hand writing on pieces of paper with music blaring loudly into my already deafened ears. The place isn't important, but the mood I'm in - often created by whatever music I'm listening to atm.

What about all of the above?  Huh? I like to write anytime anywhere if i have paper and pencil... and if I don't, I write one off the top of my head and remeber to write it down later.  Smiley

Hmm... just beneath the Arachnid membrane perhaps?
Image, feeling, word or phrase... but by whatever means that first spark of inspiration that is set for me is in a very precarious state of existence.  I carry pen and paper rarely but yet when I do it seems that I never make that magic leap from what I see or feel to a describable event.
So, to answer the question; I write everywhere, only not with paper and pen or keyboard
( that usually comes only when I've roughed it out and I understand where I'm trying to go and what I really mean to convey for example "They Would Be Giants" was in my head for almost 4 years because I didn't truly understand what I was getting at.  Embarrassed ) but instead with the minds-eye, it is the only thing that's ever worked for me, and in the long run much to my detriment I think.

I chose other because I write from my mind. I can be anywhere and an idea can just pop up apparently out of nowhere. lol

LOL that is a little odd, why do you like your attic? Have a great view or is it just all of the things up there?

"Any prize worth having requires a risk."

I pretty much take a notebook with me everywhere I go. For the newer generation, yes, I'm referring to a wire ring with lined pieces of paper attached, not a portable computer  Tongue

I find my thoughts flow much easier onto paper than they do onto a computer screen. That's not to say that I don't write on the computer too, I have one story that I've done completely on the computer, I just write it when the mood strikes. I guess it's something about having to think out what you're going to write when you lack the convenience of a backspace key that just makes things progress smoother.

That being said, most of my writing is done in the car! (While I'm a passenger lol)

I always write everything down on paper first, don't know why really just feels right. I tried one story just on the computer and it never went anywhere because I never thought about it, maybe that's why I like paper I can take it anywhere unlike my computer and it has only one purpose, also unlike my computer  Green Grin

I've had a difficult time literally writing these days because my hand doesn't seem to work half as fast as my brain seems to push out words, so I "write" on my computer, or iPod Touch, just about anywhere the inspiration strikes me. Most happens in the car or in my bedroom though  Wink

Well, I write in more places than are listed on the question... probably do most of my work in my room tho, I suppose.
