Brand New Reading & Latest Writing Pages
We are happy to announce the completion of several new areas on Writers-Network.com. The first is a completely new section that lists all the newest writing on the site. You can easily browse writing by type, description, genre, type, date and more. The next upgrade was a new genres/search page that allows you to browse writing by category as well as perform an advanced search on all the writing submitted to our site. Now you can find the exact type of writing you like to read!

We've topped all of this off with a central "Reading at Writers-Network" page that lists all the reading sections on the site so you can easily find what you are looking for, whether its the search page or the shameless plug page. Enjoy!

2009 Updates Continue9...
We are in the process of implementing many new and exciting features to the site. During this process, certain sections of the site may be neglected temporarily. If you see out-dated postings or delayed updates, there is no need to worry... we are slowly making our way back to them. We thank you for your patience and understanding while we work hard to bring you a better, more interactive Writers-Network.com

Writing Challenge (#04) Vote Now
So you're a writer... the question is how good of a writer are you? Can you write a poem or story on the spot - on any subject? Our poetry challenge is testing you! We pick the subject and set the scene, you do the writing. Once the challenge ends, the voting begins. Winners receive a fun prize for their effort! Remember to be creative and proof your piece before posting. Grammar, spelling and originality count!

The Challenge: The task was to write a poem in 15 lines or less in any style or genre. The catch was that you had to use the following line at some point in your poem: "This pain has never left me"
